We've got answers to your awards questions

Login to the website and you will find yourself in your own Info-hub. Scroll down to the Events tab on the left. Locate the event on the calendar and select it. Once the event opens up you can then update your registration by selecting the “Update Registration” tab.  Deadlines for all names and dietary restrictions is April 17th. 

If one of your guests can no longer attend and you have a replacement then please tell them they will be sitting at your “company” table. 

*Problems logging into the website? 

Please make sure that you have verified your email address in the past. If not, then please follow these instructions below. Please go to the Membership Tab and select the “Email verification?“. Your username is your email address. Once this step is complete then you can login to your info-hub.

VIATEC will do our best to accommodate your request as long as you send an email to info@viatec.ca by April 17th. After this date we cannot guarantee your request.

Please make sure you add your attendee names and any dietary restrictions to your table before April 23rd  Non-members do not have access to do so (Please see next question). Members: Please login to your info-hub on the website and scroll to the Events tab. Open the event and select “Update Registration”.

If your guest can no longer attend and you are replacing them with another person, no need to contact us. Please tell all of your guests that they will be sitting at your “Company Name” table, as there will be a seating chart posted at the event.

Get ready for the dazzling decade of disco… It’s the perfect excuse to dust off that outfit you’ve been looking for an occasion to wear. Think bell-bottoms, platform shoes, and a little (or a lot) of sparkle.

*Attire: To ensure a respectful and inclusive celebration, we kindly ask you to be mindful of cultural sensitivity when selecting your outfit. Your understanding and cooperation contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that honours the era while respecting the various backgrounds and traditions within our community.

Casual attire is welcome, but disco flair is encouraged.

Most importantly, be comfortable!

Yes, the VCC is a licensed premises and cash or card are accepted. 

The event is held at the Victoria Conference Centre – 720 Douglas Street and they have a two-level, 305-vehicle underground parking garage with access from Douglas Street. The parkade is open daily (year-round) from 6:00 a.m. until midnight. After hours, the parkade is secured. Rates are $2.50/30 minutes up to a daily maximum of $22. There is a height restriction of 6’2″ (1.88 m).

Doors open at 5 pm and each guest will be asked to show their confirmation QR Code upon entering. The QR code was sent to the main contact that purchased the seat(s) – if you purchased for multiple guests, please forward the code to those guests. For sponsor, you will receive a QR code prior to the event to forward to your guests.
There will be networking from 5pm to 5:45pm and at that time you will find your table number which will be located and displayed on the TV screens just outside of Carson Hall. If you purchased a table your “Company Name” will be displayed on the screen. If you purchased a Single Ticket then your name will be displayed on the screen. Doors to Carson Hall will open at 5:45pm, the Creative Challenge starts at 6:15pm, dinner starts at 6:30pm and the awards start at 7pm.
